Terms & Conditions

Article 14 of the Welfare of Animals (Transport) Order 1997 requires that we provide the information below...

You will be liable to cover the cost of repair for any damage caused by your horse. You will have the opportunity to check the horse transport vehicle before a journey and agree any damage, as arguments will not be entered into upon return. Any contents are entirely your responsibility.

You are advised to insure your horse for transportation. We advise you to place travel boots, tail bandages and a poll guard on your horse for travel.

The drivers take all reasonable precautions; however, in the event of an accident please note that you are personally liable for your horse in the event of injury or damage sustained to or by your horse.

For insurance purposes we ask that you let us load your horse for you. Should you wish to load your horse yourself please note that you would not be covered under the terms of our insurance.

Should it not be possible to load your horse, a call-out fee will still be charged which will take account of mileage already travelled and time taken attempting to load your horse.

Should your horse be very unsettled in the trailer, we reserve the right to refuse to transport the horse and a callout fee will still be chargeable.

Please note that you are personally liable for your horse during transport.

Prices quoted are based on an approximate estimation of distance to be travelled, but the price is a firm quote for the job unless circumstances dictate we have to take a longer route.

Waiting time is charged at £10 per hour.

We can carry a limited amount of tack or rugs on with your horse, but the insurance for these items is your responsibility.

We require a 50% deposit on confirmation and booking, balance is due upon delivery. Methods of payment include, bank transfer, cheque with guarantee card, debit and credit card facility also available.
